Step 1 — Raw Crop Intake & Product Feeding

Truck Receiving, Intake & Automated Product Feeding

Raw seeds, grains, cereals, oilseeds, pulses, and specialty agricultural crops delivered by truck are received at the facility intake area and unloaded into the automated product receiving system. Depending on production requirements, incoming material is automatically transferred through the federal feeder elevator system into the pre-storage feeding silo or routed directly through the MMCTECH flow scale system for controlled and consistent product feeding into the processing line.

The automated intake system is designed to maintain stable product flow, improve processing consistency, and reduce interruptions during production. By controlling product transfer rates and maintaining proper material reserve within the feeding system, Perry-Dice Organics helps ensure smoother downstream processing and smoother downstream processing and more efficient product handling operations.

Step 2 — Precision Product Feeding & Flow Control

MMCTECH Flow Scale Feeding System

After intake, the product is transferred into the MMCTECH Flow Scale System, where continuous product flow and yield measurement are carefully controlled before entering the cleaning section. The flow scale system helps maintain a stable and consistent product supply to downstream equipment while improving processing accuracy and operational efficiency.

By continuously regulating product movement and feed rates, the system ensures balanced loading conditions for the cleaning machinery, helping reduce interruptions and maintain more consistent processing performance across multiple crop types.

Step 3 — High-Capacity Pre-Cleaning

MMCTECH Orbit Seed Pre-Cleaner

The product then enters the MMCTECH Orbit Seed Pre-Cleaner, a high-capacity seed, grain, and specialty crop cleaning system designed to remove oversized materials, lightweight impurities, dust, broken material, sticks, and foreign contamination. Using a combination of precision screening and air aspiration technology, the machine improves raw product cleanliness while preparing material for more efficient grading and downstream processing.

The MMCTECH Orbit system is engineered for premium food-grade product preparation and helps improve product consistency while reducing unwanted foreign material before calibration and sizing.

Step 4 — Precision Seed & Product Calibration

MMCTECH Two-Floor Seed Grading System

After pre-cleaning, the product is transferred through the exit elevator into two MMCTECH Two-Floor Seed Grader Machines, where products are calibrated and separated according to size, density, and quality requirements. and separated according to size and product quality.

During the grading process:

  • Top screen separation removes oversized material and screen-over products
  • Bottom screen separation removes undersized particles and smaller materials
  • Premium calibrated product is separated for improved processing consistency

Once calibration is completed, the cleaned and properly sized material is transferred by elevator into the MMCTECH Seed Storage Silo, preparing the product for the next processing stage, including gravity separation, dehulling, direct loading, or specialty processing paths.

Step 5 — Smart Product Routing

MMCTECH Seed Storage & Flexible Product Routing

After grading, the calibrated product is transferred to the MMCTECH Seed Storage Silo through an elevator system equipped with a magnetic separator to help remove possible metal contamination and protect food-grade product quality.

From the storage silo, the product can follow three different processing paths depending on crop requirements:

1. Direct Truck Loading
Cleaned and graded products can be transferred directly to truck loading for shipment.

2. Gravity Separation (Bypass Route)
Products that do not require dehulling can bypass the dehulling section and move directly to the MMCTECH Gravity Separator fully automated.

3. MMCTECH Seed Dehulling Line
Products requiring shell removal are transferred to the MMCTECH Seed Dehulling System for further processing.

Step 6 — MMCTECH Seed Dehulling System

High-Capacity Seed Dehulling & Shell Separation

For crops requiring shell removal, the product is transferred into the MMCTECH Seed Dehulling Line, equipped with four high-capacity MMCTECH Impact Seed Dehuller machines designed for sunflower seeds, hemp seeds, and other dry seed applications.

After dehulling, the product enters the MMCTECH Zig-Zag Seed Separator, where lightweight shells and separated materials are removed through controlled air flow.

Following separation, the system offers two specialized product paths:

Sunflower Seed Processing
Products are directed to a dedicated kernel separator system designed specifically for sunflower seed processing.

Other Seed Processing
Hemp and specialty seeds are transferred to the MMCTECH Vibration Shaker Seed Separator for additional cleaning and product separation.

For non-dehulled material, the system includes MMCTECH Belt Return Conveyors, automatically returning unshelled products back into the dehulling cycle for improved efficiency and higher processing yield.

Step 7 — MMCTECH Gravity Separation

Advanced Density Cleaning & Product Purification

The MMCTECH Gravity Separator is designed to receive product from two different processing paths, providing maximum flexibility for both dehulled and non-dehulled seed applications.

Route 1 — Dehulled Product Processing
Products coming from the MMCTECH Seed Dehulling Line are transferred into the fully automated MMCTECH Gravity Separator, where lightweight materials, damaged kernels, immature products, and density differences are removed before moving to the Color Sorting System.

Route 2 — Direct Gravity Processing
Products from the MMCTECH Seed Storage System can bypass dehulling and enter the gravity separator directly for premium cleaning and quality improvement.

This flexible system allows the gravity separation section to efficiently process both dehulled products and whole seeds, supporting a wider range of crop and processing requirements.

Step 8 — Optical Color Sorting

MMCTECH Optical Color Sorting & Premium Product Cleaning

After gravity separation, the product enters the MMCTECH Optical Color Sorter, where advanced camera and sensor technology removes discolored materials, damaged kernels, foreign material, and unwanted color variations from the product stream.

The color sorting system is designed to achieve up to 99.9% product purity, helping improve consistency, food-grade quality, and premium finished product standards for ingredient processing and specialty agricultural markets.

Once sorting is completed, the finished product is automatically transferred to the packaging system for final preparation and shipment.

Step 9 — Flexible Packaging & Shipping

MMCTECH Bagging & Bulk Packaging Systems

After optical color sorting, the finished product is transferred into one of two MMCTECH packaging systems, depending on customer requirements and final product specifications.

MMCTECH Semi-Automatic Bagging System
Designed for food-grade and retail packaging applications, the system supports 10 to 110 lbs bagging for ingredient suppliers, specialty food markets, and packaged agricultural products.

MMCTECH Bulk Big Bag System
For high-volume operations, products can be filled into bulk totes up to 2,000 lbs, providing efficient storage, transportation, and large-scale shipment preparation.

Once packaged, products are prepared for shipment and distribution.

The system continuously monitors product flow, silo capacity, machine performance, and processing conditions through integrated sensors and intelligent control logic to maintain stable production and improve operational reliability.

When downstream systems become full or a process interruption occurs, the automation system intelligently pauses upstream equipment while allowing downstream product evacuation to continue. When product becomes available again, the system automatically restarts and returns to operation without unnecessary downtime.
